Railroad Train

Abandoned Train

Evangeline Chavez 2010

Lamy, New Mexico

The Amtrak station in Lamy was built in the 1880s of stucco and brick in the California Mission-style by the Atcheson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. If you take a stroll around the area you  can find a few abandoned trains, a train museum and a train converted into a home.

  2. Thank You,
I love to get out on the weekends with camera in tow and look for something to photography. I plan on going next weekend to the back roads of Santo Doming to find some of the old buildings that I saw when I rode the Rail Runner. Following weekend I am going to photograph for Esperanza the Pork and Brew,,,,yum yum.. That will be a hard job..
    Have a good week

  3. That’s a really cool photo. I like the black and white. I didn’t know the California Mission-style was the style. I always like to go to Lamy to have a look-see. Hope all is going well. Great photos lately while you have traveled around.
