I like the “conjunto,” also. Good work, good word.
Good on Rick Carver and your grand contribution to his book. I am sure you will be featured prominently. Do keep me and Brenda in mind when you send invitations. We are going to NM sometime this summer and will try to make to Rio Rancho for your reception. All pretty “iffy” at this time, but it would really be nice to see your work and you — and probably a few blogging friends? Anyway, send an invite if you are so inclined, Evangeline.
Congratulations on being a contributor. –Jack.
I am documenting important events for personal use and for a book project Rick Carver, is putting together, called, ” A Year or So in the Life of New Mexico”. He is recurting different photographers with their photos for this book. The book will be published the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
My involvement of this project is left up to me, as Rick Carver stated. The proceeds of the book will go to Esperanza, a shelter for battered families.
Also the Loma Colorado Library in Rio Rancho will be displaying my art photography during the month of July . They will hold a reception July 10th at 2:00-4;00. Anyone interested in attending let me know.
Thanks again,
Evangeline
Glad you documented this beautiful ‘conjunto’ — the old wood and found objects make this cross beautiful to me.
You are documenting very important places and events, thank you.
