It was taken at the Bobbie Fisher bridge going toward Belen, New Mexico.
Early morning captured the fog, and morning colors over the Rio Grande River. The Snow Cranes were flying overhead , perhaps toward the Bosque de Apache Refuge .
Hope this helped with the information.

As the fog floated across the Rio Grande River and an island of trees the birds flying over just added to the final touch of the photo.

Just had to come over for this one – the thick and thin lines of cranes, the color, the light, the subtlety of atmosphere for New Mexico – all of these things together in a great composition document a place with meaning.
You are very good photographer!

p.s. – the thin line for sure is made of cranes

Thank you for correcting me, I have seen many cranes fly over my land that I should of known better, but not being sure I should of done my reasarch. Thank you for the complement, I strive to bring NM and Gods beauty to light.
