Las Posadas de Barelas
Las Posadas de Barelas, ( Albuquerque, New Mexico) begins at the Barelas Community Center and winds its way through the neighborhood. The procession includes angels, shepherds, kings and choirs of heavenly voices. The procession reenacts the journey of Mary and Joseph looking for shelter, as they travel the streets of Barelas, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods
